I guess you could say I've been waiting all my twenties to ask this: On the map covers, what is the explanation for the two right hands (left hands? --the maps are in my parents' house) holding the scope? Is there an inside joke there? Is the hand closer to me supposed to be my hand?

I can't believe it's a mistake, because everything else about the Prof's maps is beyond reproach!Dantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15328983048166041281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-449266838747116985.post-56584764205414167052009-12-17T07:48:49.718-08:002009-12-17T07:48:49.718-08:00ranne: you'll be glad to know, we have one in ...ranne: you'll be glad to know, we have one in the works: see here for more informationnatcasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18058664776852941599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-449266838747116985.post-48954709151042953202009-12-17T06:41:21.855-08:002009-12-17T06:41:21.855-08:00Hi: I happened upon your bicycle map while consult...Hi: I happened upon your bicycle map while consulting with a business owner. Have you thought of doing a map for dog parks? - including the feature - separate area for small dogs, one for larger dogs? -As a small business owner, www.Pets-R-Loved.com, I may be interested in distributing such maps at events I atttend where dog lovers would love to knowUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01183052783418711635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-449266838747116985.post-23820058955714129002009-04-02T09:29:00.000-07:002009-04-02T09:29:00.000-07:00Interesting Ben - great to hear about all the plac...Interesting Ben - great to hear about all the places the GuestCheck has appeared.. I guess we have something more in common: Hedberg Maps may be the only map publisher that has had a map featured in Playboy... about 8 years ago, our Santa Map had a nice write-up (Playboy is famous for great articles!) - I still have some of the tear-sheets and occasionally enjoying re-reading the article (I make sure to close my eyes when looking at the rest of the page).Tom Hedberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03461148252752257812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-449266838747116985.post-15290042150999191782009-04-02T08:59:00.000-07:002009-04-02T08:59:00.000-07:00Tom,Front page of the NYT is a great spot see thos...Tom,

Front page of the NYT is a great spot see those Hedberg Maps! We used the College map on both of our college-seeking excursions last year, and they were enormously helpful!

Regarding the Obama story, it really boils down to being willing to change seats 4 times, have an animated conversation in sign language and survive a mild threat of divorce/murder.

Thanks for the GuestCheck plug. They really do help resterauteuers increase their bottom line by enhancing the customer's dining experience. We always say, "Write it down. Get it right!" Someday, I will give you the low-down on all the places that our ubiquitus little product has appeared in the media -- from the splash page on google, to the critical scene in a Scorse thriller, to the centerfold of Playboy (I promise that I only looked at the GuestCheck in her hand!)

Ben Olk
President
NCCBen3https://www.blogger.com/profile/07039431249713442835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-449266838747116985.post-15099216764139584952009-03-24T06:17:00.000-07:002009-03-24T06:17:00.000-07:00Free wall map to the first one who correctly ident...Free wall map to the first one who correctly identifies the pitcher on the 2009 cover!
